As a kid I loved to make lists and organizing. I even used to organize the grocery cart. Not surprisingly, I worked in libraries as an undergrad and liked it so much I got a master’s in library science where I delved into my love of research and began my professional life as a health librarian. I love to share resources that have helped me. So much so that i recently became a certified integrative nutrition health coach.

My other favorite childhood activity was keeping lists of all my relatives birthdays. I guess I should have known then that astrology was in my bones, but I didn’t start really diving into it until I was in my forties. Like many, I came to it during a challenging time in my life. Astrology is so much more that the little horoscopes a magazine. It is a tool to help us understand and better accept the constant change that is part of our human journey. It has also helped me appreciate my strengths and change my perspective on some qualities that felt more challenging.

I have learned so much through my explorations and I’m excited to bring my special blend of health coaching, astrology, and creativity to my work with clients and teaching.

My life has taken me down many different roads. I’ve always considered myself a bit of a wanderer, there’s just so much to learn and explore. One of my biggest desires was to pursue my creative interests and during the last 5 years I also began exploring my own creativity through writing and fiber art, specifically weaving, which branched out into felting, sewing, altered books, and fiber collage. I have used art as a way to explore what I want to express as well as a way to process some of the deeper things I had been trying to ignore for years. I believe that working with hands, whether through art, or cooking, or building, or any number of other mediums, is a pathway to healing and finding wholeness.
